Your job does not define who you are. Sure, it is a part of you, but a rather interchangeable part when you think about it.
Regardless of who pays you for your services, it is what you are interested in that defines you. How you interact with others, how they respond to you.
You could be here, in London, in Virginia or in Spain. But you would still be you based on your character, your hobbies, what you did outside of the 9 to 5 range more so than what you did during them.
