I’ve been thinking about setting up an environment similar to the one described in
Steve’s Tech Journal » New Asterisk-based personal communication approach and need to get a sense of when the time will be right to jump in!

I presume that an Asterisk server with both a landline and GSM hookup would be ideal, but I am entirely too much of a novice at this point in PBX-land to even consider the options.

Exactly the reason I should get started soon …
